What is Vision for Action?

Vision for Action is a vision for all of us to share and adapt within our own contects. It embraces, celebrates and nurtures the wonderful work already being done in parishes.

The unifying priority is mission - the central characteristic of any flourishing and thriving parish. Our overall aim is:

1. To work together on love and commitment to proclaim the Kingdom of God. Four further focussed priorities provide channels that feed directly into this mission. They are:

2. MINISTRY: To encourage, support and develop the ministry of each person.

3. CHURCH BUILDINGS: To encourage each parish to develop the use of church buildings as places or worship and mission.

4. STEWARDSHIP: To strengthen the commitment to steardship amoungst clergy and laity in order to further the mission of the church.

5. CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE: To encourage and develop the necessary skills within parishes and deaneries to bring the Gospel to children and young people through worship, schools and other contexts.
